The right power, where you want it
The Aprilia RS 457 is powered by an ultra-modern, high-tech liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine with dual camshaft timing and four valves per cylinder, capable of 47 horsepower, with low down grunt that pulls through the rev range. With a dry weight of just 350 lbs, it all adds up to a power-to-weight ratio that makes the Aprilia RS 457 simply unbeatable.
Living up to its name
The Aprilia RS 457 transforms technology into an ace up the sleeve in terms of sport credentials. Ride by Wire was first introduced to MotoGP by Aprilia Racing and can now be found in the 457, featuring three riding modes that regulate power, torque and traction control (also with three settings). Quickshift electronic gear, available as an accessory, is also just what you would expect from a sports bike, while the 5” color TFT instrument panel and backlit handlebar commands ensure you have control at your fingertips.
Clip-ons
Semi-handlebars mounted above the steering yoke create an ergonomic benefit and the perfect compromise between a sporty riding position and overall comfort.
Full LED
The full-LED headlight, featuring the lighting style synonymous with new-gen Aprilia models, is paired with built-in indicators.
Suspension
The 41-mm fork with 120 mm travel features preload adjustment, as does the rear monoshock, which works on the steel swingarm and offers 130 mm wheel travel.
Wheels
The 17” sports wheel rims are decked with 110/70 tires at the front and 150/60 at the rear, the perfect dimensions for providing excellent grip but without sacrificing agility, making this aspect yet another defining point of the new Aprilia.
Braking system
The front braking package consists of a 320-mm disc with a ByBre radial-mount 4-piston calliper while at the rear you’ll find a 220-mm disc and ByBre calliper.
