BONNEVILLE 1200CC ENGINE: At the Speed Twin’s heart is an updated high power 1200cc Bonneville twin engine with the celebrated Thruxton performance tune that peaks at 97PS @ 6,750rpm. Evolved from the Thruxton powerplant, this enhanced engine is a low inertia high performance 6 speed 8 valve parallel twin that now features a magnesium cam cover, a revised clutch assembly and mass optimised engine covers.

THRILLING TORQUE DELIVERY: This is a kind of performance modern classic, with an exhilarating torque delivery from low down and then right through the range. Torque peaks at 82.6 FT lbs (4,950rpm), matching the output of the Thruxton R, and a whole 40% more than Triumph’s latest Street Twin model.
